Anyone know good websites where they sell cute fashion jewelry?
I’m looking for large, thick red hoops and I can’t find them in any of the stores or on ebay. I’ve been to Target, Walmart and every mall in my town. I guess red isn’t in anymore, but I need some red accessories. Any good sites you know of that I could go to?
Here are a few red hoops:

What earrings would match a green pearl necklace?
My wedding colors are pink and green. My bridesmaids dresses are pink so I bought them all matching pretty green pearl necklaces for their gifts. But what kind of earings should they wear? Buying them all the same isnt in my budget, and I dont think I should ask them to look for green pearl earrings to match (sounds expensive and hard).
Any suggestions that would look nice?
Haha I know green pearl earrings would match! But im asking for any other alternatives that would look good too!
Have them not wear earrings or go with something neutral like gold or silver balls. Studs only though because it would look funny with non pearl dangling earrings. No earrings would look best, but nobody will notice because they’ll all have their eyes on the bride anyway. Plus nobody would really be able to tell even if they were a serious snob unless they got close to the bridesmaids. Congrats on the wedding!
How can I establish myself when I am selling embroidery floss bracelets and accessories?
I make embroidery floss bracelets/ accessories in several designs. How can I tell people that I am selling these for a cheap price? And also, knowing myself, being a passive person.. how can I let people know that they are strictly for sale, not for free, due to profit? Please give me your advice. Thanks, Sky.
hello there!
i am also trying to get into the jewelry business as well.
I have some success with selling earrings, bracelets and even cell phone charms! I actualy even fix jewelry as well.
Never allow yourself to downgrade or cheapen your product -so dont say you are selling ur stuff for a cheap price. be careful with your words because they count since they are your marketing tools. Use affordable or economical.
depending on your going about selling ur items, I would inform the person that flat out
you are selling x item for this amount. don’t be shy it is your product and u have a right to be paid for your materials and design time and labor.
you could a special deal if the person purchase 2 items.
look at etsy.com and in their community boards they have great information about owning your own handcrafted business! good luck!
HOw do you go about removing beads from a hacky sack without ruining its quality?
i jsut got a hacky sack and its filled to the brim with beads. i want to take some beads out without ruining it. Any suggestions?
The more you use your hack the more the fabric will loosen up and your bead problem will fix itself…but if you don’t wanna wait this has worked for me in the past: Get a pen and gently work a hole in the stitching until you’ve got a hole large enough for your beads. Take as many as you want out, and then take a needle and some thick thread, fine fishing wire, or floss and work back and sew your hole up so you don’t have spillage. Happy hacking
What is your opinion on colored gem engagement rings?
I know that diamonds are the norm for engagement and wedding rings but I found this ring I really love…

What is your opinion on colored gems on an engagement ring?
First of all, if you love it, no one else’s opinions should matter!
But since you’re asking, I love that ring that you’ve linked us to. Pink stones are very feminine and pretty. Plus, because it’s colored you’re able to go for a much bigger gem than you would a diamond for a more affordable price. I bet that ring would look amazing on your finger!
A few of my friends actually have colored engagement rings and they look fabulous. It’s very tacky to negatively comment on someone’s ring, so I doubt anyone would be insulting about it. It’s a very lovely choice and I’m sure you will enjoy wearing it! Congrats on your upcoming engagement!
