i’m a rising junior and i would love to work in these industries in the future. but i think it would be best if i took a peek at what its like before i have my mind set.

For a high school student, you should go for job shadowing. You will have far more opportunities to really see how the fashion, cosmetic and jewelry worlds operate. Internships in those fields are pretty much taken up by college students. Job shadowing will give you the same feel for the jobs as an internship would.

I got my ears pierced in the 2nd grade, and haven’t had any earrings in my ears since the beginning of 4th grade. I am now 14, so it has been quite a while. I have class pictures tomorrow, and this morning I easily slid earrings into my ears. They are a little red and swollen, but are not bleeding. Is it going to damage my ears to wear a pair of hoopies for one day?

Just get some bactine or something for our ears so the dont get infected, other then that i think its perfectly fine to wear them.

These rubber bracelets dont say anything but there just thin rubber bracelets and are in colors. What do they mean sexualy! I dont mean this in a bad way but like red is lap dance. When anybody breaks this bracelet you have to do what the bracelet say to the person who broke it? If you know what they are plz answer and tell me what they mean!

The colors each have a coded meaning as follows:

* Yellow – indicates the wearer is willing to HUG
* Pink – indicates the wearer is willing to give a hickey
* Orange – indicates the wearer is willing to KISS
* Purple – indicates the wearer is willing to kiss a partner of either sex
* Red – indicates the wearer is willing to perform a LAP DANCE
* Green – indicates that ORAL SEX can be performed on a girl
* Clear – indicates a willingness to do "whatever the snapper wants"
* Blue – indicates ORAL SEX performed on a guy
* Black – indicates that the wearer will have regular "missionary" sex
* White – indicates the wearer will "FLASH" what they have
* Glittery Yellow – indicates HUGGING and KISSING is acceptable
* Glittery Pink – willing to "flash" (show) a body part
* Glittery Purple – wearer is willing to French (open mouth) kiss
* Glittery Blue – wearer is willing to perform anal sex
* Glittery Green – indicates that the wearer is willing to "69" (mutual oral sex)
* Glittery Clear – indicates that the wearer will let the snappee "feel up" or touch any body part they want

I’m planning to visit Bangalore in mid July for the 1st time and will only be there for 2-3 days. I’m really interested in buying beads (all kinds, all sizes, all shapes, all shades) ect. Can anyone tell me where i could find the best bargains from?

If you are Ok with walking in the busiest and narrow roads and ready to explore, go to Fifth Ave (???!) near city market. You can enter this area either from Majestic (from Majestic Theater) or the one near Sapna book stores or from the Mysore Bank intersection. You can also enter this place from the City Market, Bangalore.

Each streets are specialised in some sort. Couldn’t guide you to exact street. Check with the local vendors.

If you like some space to breath and near by MG Road, get into Commercial Street. You will see lanes branching out from Commercial street. Step into any of those and you will find lot of shops selling beads, cloth bits etc. More shops are close by the West Side store in commercial street.

It may be slightly expensive than you found in City Market shops.

I already gave my girl her engagement ring and I wanted mines to since I got her’s but my co workers say it bad luck 2 wear it like u already married…she wears’ her on her left hand and so do I is that wrong?

Each day I hear about 5 more things that are "bad luck" to do before your wedding. Honestly, I wouldn’t worry about it. If you want to wear an engagement ring and show your commitment to your fiancée, go for it!!

not claire’s style, more like urban outfitters or h&m, im not really looking for big name stores. saying wet seal and stuff like that doesnt help that much. i know about those stores already. thanks!

It really depends on how little you want to pay. Target, Kohls, and Walmart usually have a wide variety of updated and modern jewelry and are fairly inexpensive. Those are where I have bought most of my fashion jewelry. More so at Target and Kohls.

Heading up to college – so I have nearly all my earrings to bring up, and I own a TON. Any suggestions for packing them effectively without just throwing ‘em all in a plastic bag? Thanks!

I always have sore shoulder muscles due to sitting at the computer all day. I have decent posture, and an ergonomic desk, but I am literally at the computer all day for work and constantly have sore shoulder muscles/back muscles. Any possible folk remedies – like people who wear copper bracelets for arthritis?

I have a bunch of dusty old sachets, some of which still have a faint smell, and one of which I’ve had since I was a baby & am keeping for sentimental value. I figure throwing them in the washer will clean them but get rid of any scent.

How do I clean them & possibly renew the scent? Some of them can be untied to pull out beads & cotton. Others are pillows or little stuffed animals that can’t be opened without tearing seams.

I had some that I cleaned.

I opened them up and hand washed them in a sink.

Once dry I decided to buy fresh dried Lavender instead of using the old Lavender that I had saved. It gave it a much stronger smell. I also have one that has dried rose blossoms, but also added a little rose oil to keep the smell fresh!

I then sewed them back up. I love the scent when I open my drawers.
