She actually IS starting at the beginning of the pattern, she probably just created the vid after she began the bracelet. Ignore the beginning and just follow her instructions, unless your talking about how to start it as in knotting it. Just cut the floss, knot and begin. OR attach a clasp or create the buckle.

Row 1: 3 forward knots and 1 backward knot
Row 2: 2 forward and 2 back
Row 3: 2 forward and 2 back
Row 4: 1 forward and 3 back

Row 6: 2 forward and 2 back
